I am at the Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies, University of Alabama. My primary research interests include labor economics, economics of education, and applied econometrics.
My current research reflects two major lines in labor economics. The first focuses on policies affecting labor market outcomes (e.g., the effect of unemployment insurance on job search behavior). The second is concerned with human capital accumulation (e.g., unemployment insurance and children's educational achievements, and the relative wage and quality of school teachers).
I am currently teaching two sections of EC 308: Intermediate Microeconomics, and two sections of EC 309: Intermediate Macroeconomics.
